The only way all four can play is in a 4231. What does that mean for Wenger's latest 343 fascination?

Wenger: better bench them both just to be safe. Iwobi and Lacazette it is.

Yeah, that last comment from Wenger hints that he won't hesitate to bench Lacazette at anytime. Would like to see PEA and Lacazette play together but if we can't see that, then I hope the competition will make Lacazette a better player

Giroud showed exemplary attitude, took it on the chin and continued to contribute from the bench when Lacazette was brought in. Lacazette has to respond in a similar fashion. When you perform to the best of your ability the manager will find a way to accommodate you in the eleven. Wenger always says the best players can always play together so Lacazette has to show he is one of the best players by raising the bar.

If Auba starts teeing off right from the word go, there will be tremendous pressure on Lacazette but handling and performing under pressure is what survival is all about at top level. Make no bones about it in current form Lacazette does not deserve to start if Auba, Ozil and Mkhi are fit. It is up to him to change that. He has the skills but he needs to start converting his skills in to performances.

Fantastic start.

In some games I think Lacazette for Iwobi or obviously as a sub for Auba.

Judging on the balance after today though not sure we'll see all on the pitch at the same time, we were attacking as fk today, adding Laca may hurt us going backwards.

Laca will not seriously make it here now, feel sorry for him but that's life

Theres still space for him imo. He could easily play in a pait with auba or as a cf with that short technical style of his.

At a minimum, he knows his position is under threat now so he needs to play like he wants to take aubas crown.

Hyped weve finally got two plausible options up top...

Why is it almost taboo to utter the words nowadays

Its almost thick to not give it a go

Imagine the smell from the opposing teams changing room when they see Lacazette and Aubameyang in the starting lineup as a front 2.

You've won the game before kickoff.

I understand why he was benched today but I really hope it isn't indicative of things to come.

I am afraid though that Wenger might start thinking MAO + Ramsey is already too attack oriented. He was already talking about 'reaching the right balance' in the post match interview.
