Arsenal kick off 2017/18 season top of Injury League
Arsenal sit at the top of the table with nine players potentially out for their first match of the season against Leicester at the Emirates. Although this could go down to ‘only’ eight or even seven before their clash with Leicester on Friday night.

The Gunners are almost definitely without Santi Cazorla (ankle), Joel Campbell (knee) Gabriel (knee), Alexis Sanchez (abdomen)and Jack Wilshere (leg), and potentially without Francis Coquelin (ankle) and Per Mertesacker (head).

However, while they were also supposed to be without Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey, both have apparently trained and Ozil should start against the Foxes.

So far, Liverpool and West Ham are hot on Arsenal’s heals in the Injury League table and with Rambo and Ozil returning, the Gunners could drop down to third or fourth.

Got a massive gash on his head during the community shield, wouldn't have thought it would have stopped him playing unless he was concussed though.
