Might be a bit difficult not to seeing as they are the brand with the three stripes and all that.

I know but it's when they put that gap in the stripes on the sleeve for the competition logo, which often makes the gap too big and breaks up the symmetry.

We are a much bigger club than Chelsea

Once Wenger has gone we will also be onto bigger things than them.

Dude, who wants to pay Arsenal the same money as a top team to see negative articles week in week out and embarrassing scorelines - whilst wearing your product ?

When Chelsea get paraded as Champion's of England whilst wearing your product, thats good advertising right there. Don't nobody care about seeing Arsenal's embarrassing ass representing their product. Bigger club or not, the number of Chelsea fans now worldwide since they began winning the Prem is proof of their market appeal.

Once we get rid of Wenger then I think we reset and once again become the pride of London.

Puma have been a horror show, worst sports brand by far.

Anyone else think it would be amazing if Adidas kits had the original trefoil logo?

Dont know why they don't at least make special or limited edition Adidas Original kits.

Much better than the modern three stripe logo.

I remember when the 3 stripes logo first came out, I was told it was for "Adidas Equipment" and they still use the original logo on non Adidas Equipment products. Now it seems it is only used on classic products, which is a shame.

Personally I have liked the Puma kits and I like the puma brands although I only wear Adidas boots. When it comes to brand power though...there's no contest as to whether Puma is a "Big Boy" brand. It's not.

What it really comes down to is who has the money to pay us the most, AND who has the world wide exposure that we can piggy back on. These companies are MUCH MUCH larger than Arsenal. We are using them as a way to spread our brand as well. That means Nike (30bn revenue 2017) and Addidas (20bn revenue 2017) and not Puma (4bn revenue 2017) are what we should be wearing.

The references (Diego/Pele) you're referring to are not relevant at all to current consumers. The younger market is the target segment to sell football boots and other apparel to (Nike has said it's target for football equipment is 20-). You might say that Puma is better contender in the football specific segment, but when it comes to brands that we should be associating with it's about total brand power.

We should talk Jordan into making football kits. Arsenal would own the <35 demographic.

This is PUMA's last season, isn't it?

I haven't hated their kits as much as some but am glad we're starting a new deal with Adidas, especially if it's more lucrative.

Welcome to modern football. If you don't whore yourself out, you fall behind the rest of the pack, like we're already doing.
