Being head and shoulders above your peers in the under 18's and 21's to look like the best thing since sliced bread is one thing, producing it at first team level is another and why the like of a 16 year old Wayne Rooney remain a phenomenon while the like of a Nketia or Hudson-Odoi become the norm.

If we are buying Tammy Abrahams it means Arteta is a f***ing idiot

Fixed that for you

I'm not opposed to sending him on loan, now that he has renewed. Nelson sat on the bench all season last year, that didn't do him any good.

We are completely overloaded with strikers, and Arteta seems to prefer wide forwards like Pepe and Auba over out and out #9s. That means he'd be angling for already limited game time with Lacazette, Martinelli and Nketiah.

Loan him out and if he performs well loan him out for another 2 years. This seems to be the way it’s done at Arsenal.

No prem side will take him. It will have to be a championship side like John Jules who went to Doncaster.

Smh such condescension. The majority of Ben White's experience is in the Championship, and he's a £50m player.

Not meant to be condescending at all. Harry Kane had a number of championship loans if I recall correctly. It’s just the nature of coming up the ranks. Frankly I think he was a fool to sign a new deal with us when Southampton were offering him a contract. He’d probably have had a better chance of developing in the premier league with them.

Yes. His control and finish was very good in the game yesterday.

This guy looked like Christopher Wreh when he first arrived back in the day.

Looked way way behind Nketiah today.

Did you watch the game today?
He looked way off it when he came on.
Nketiah has looked very good in pre-season.

Which player do you think looked better in pre-season?

You didn't answer the question.
Which of them has looked better in pre-season?

You seem to think I have an agenda for saying it's Nketiah and Balogun looked off the pace today - despite the fact I actually praised him for his good finish earlier in pre-season.
So, who do you think has been better in pre-season? Nketiah or Balogun?

Neither did you.

My point is Balogun has hardly any game time, not a surprise he’s rusty.

You can’t compare them.

What I will say is I think Nketiah isn’t very good, he’s had enough game time.
