Remember when we were off form and ESR was introduced to the team, we switched to 4-2-3-1 and we seemed to transform overnight? I wonder if Balogun could come in and have a similar impact.

There's limited room on the bench. Put in 2 reserve goalkeepers, and you only have 14 spots left!

As yet done nothing to deserve a place on the bench.
He needs to improve his U23 performances and show he is good enough to step up.
It's up to him.

Glad he’s staying now but their needs to be a visible plan going into next season, best thing to do would be a loan to a BPL than can at least give him a good amount of minutes.

We extend laca for another 2 seasons on a minimal pay rise, sell Nketiah for whatever we can get and either play Martinelli as a backup, or do something similar to United and find a backup CF like Cavani that we can get on a short term basis while Balogun learns elsewhere

The other Strikers aren't doing it so play him. We need to start increasing the values of our players.

Looks great but I am sure you can find videos of Nketiah tearing up the u18/23s as well. The jump for a center forward from youth team to first team is huge.

Really disappointed with him today.
After the contract dispute and the demands to play I expected him to be really busy and going for it from the off.
He was lazy today - only seemed interested in getting involved when he had a chance of some glory - but when he did get his chances he looked scared and fluffed them.
If he's going to talk the talk, he has to walk the walk.
Needs to work harder if he wants to break through.
