Mislintat being edged out is exactly the problem. He's surrounding himself with yes men. And Grimandi is just a scout. Wenger's seconds weren't French (Rice, Bould, Rowley etc) - in fact in later years Gazidis had more power than Wenger.

Brought in Neymar and Suarez. Wooooooooooow, that's almost as good as the average FM player buying superstar 1 and superstar 2 as they manage one of the two biggest clubs in the world

Found Sanchez? loooool Sanchez was a known commodity, hence his €26 million price tag and 40-odd caps for Chile. Not like he unearthed Asensio for €4 million.

Cesc being one of our best players means jack shit. He was only brought back because muh Barca DNA. If Zubi watched him at Arsenal, he would've seen Cesc wouldn't fit the Barcelona style of play; Cesc was too direct for Pep's tiki taka.

Zubi didn't exactly set the world on fire with his transfer dealings at Barca, and Arsenal can't afford to have a mediocre person as DoF.

I'd have rather gotten Monchi tbh, at least he's shown he can find a diamond in the rough every now and then.
