No problem with a total restructure, been calling for one for years, a bit concerned that it's being done by Gazidis and not the new manager .... hope that's not a sign of things to come ...

We now watch PSG, Italy and several others confirming their managers for next season the day after the last one left ... so where's ours? we we're promised a speedy decision ... already the players are gone on holiday / world cup ... the new manager, and presumably the new backroom guys, are going to have very little time to do much before next season .... let alone do any major transfers ....

Appoint somebody now ... give him the best chance to succeed ... why are we so feckin' slow making big decisions ... Wonger out has been happening for years the changes should have been planned well in advance ... come on .....

Bould needs to go imo.

He's done nothing with this defence and it looks like he gave up a while ago.

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery is set for a backroom shake-up that could see Steve Bould and Jens Lehmann leave the Emirates. (Sun)

Under Emery's preferred system any new assistant would not be actually assistant manager anyway. Hed effectively be fourth most senior coach

Goodbye Steve Bould, thanks for nothing.

Worst defense we've had in years, this is what happens when we hire someone on sentimental grounds as an ex-player rather than the better trainers.

Some dumb arses wanted Henry as manager ffs, there excuse is "They know what Arsenal means" ........... that does not = qualified or even a good manager!!

This is our issue as a club, way too loyal, way to sentimental.

Thank goodness Gazidis is slowly changing that culture.

Bould has absolutely ruined his legend status

I'm not convinced that Bould really had much say so in anything with Wenger in charge.

He still "trained" the defence, otherwise what was he doing there? just picking up a cheque?

I know he's kind of new but both keepers were atrocious last season

Aren't we supposed to bring in the PSG GK coach?

Yes.

Replace the whole lot I say.

As with Lehman I'm sorry but some ex-players see these roles as almost ceremonial, a way to get paid but they're not as hands on as a proper coach.

This is where again, Arsenal sentiment is a sign of our weakness as a club and fan base.

Lehmann wasn’t our GK coach last season, he was a first team coach. Worked with the players and joined in the sessions, not just solely with the goalkeepers
