Unai apparently well known for playing the blame game.

Blames Burgess for all injuries during the season and lack of player energy in the latter stages of the season.

Unai also blamed Bould for defensive frailties and as such has been banished to reserves. Ljungeberg promoted.

Finally a manager who can see past failure and does something about it - how many on here have been moaning about our ten years of constant injuries? how many moaning about our years of shite defending? now doing something about it is called "the blame game" ...

Maybe The Don won't make things better but at least he's not settling for failure .....

Agree on this. The cynical me says this is passing the buck but I was just reading snippets from the Suarez interview and he said after his first 16 days with Arsenal he still wasn't match fit. He picked up and injury in training and had to play on meds.

Doesn't make sense to have Shad Foresyth as Head of Performance and Darren as Director of High Performance. How did that work?

Our intense pressing game disappeared towards the end of the season and the performances were lifeless. Whatever works for Unai. Good to see a bit more of a cut throat environment and people being held accountable.

The old regime has created problems which are incredibly difficult to address. It looks as though their horrible decisions coupled with Kroenke's complacency have caused the ultimate downfall of Arsenal.

I bet Vinai and Raul are compensated on increasing player value, rather than winning trophies. That’s what you’d do if your intention was to make money off the club. Which means all they will do is take a punt on guys like Martinelli rather than buying proven talent.

The revamp of the coaching team is a great step - and necessary to continue to the process of removing Wenger's influence.
I like that Freddie has been moved up to replace Bould

We've lost one of the best scouts in the world because our technical director (sanehli) prefers networking to statistical analysis to find hidden gems.

Gazidis/wenger f***ked up our finances by failing to renew contracts, not selling players on low contracts and buying players with an Ill fit to the league or just not good enough.

Wenger sacked and replaced by Emery

Gazidis leaves

Vinai and sanehli now have to work in a tiny budget to get big players and cant sell on the tat gazidis and wenger bought in.

Meanwhile, kronke refuses to add additional funds to get proper players instead of stop gaps that become mainstays.
