I can see Liverpool and one of the Manchester clubs allowing us to crash the party.

I think this season will require a very high points finish to get into the top four. Last season's point total, which got us a flukey second place, won't cut it. I think we have to win 6/7 (or perhaps all 7) to have even a chance. To catch Liverpool, the most likely to drop out, we need to win our 3 games in hand with a +5 goal difference just to draw level. Finishing ahead of Liverpool is still in our own hands but will still be a tough ask. Then, on top of that, we'll need either Utd or City to drop points.

If Wenger gets us top 4 and the FA Cup, I will get down my knees and pleasure him however he wants.

True, but there's the Manchester derby where at least one is guaranteed to drop points, and I wouldn't put it past Crystal Palace to get a cheeky result at the Etihad.

If we win 5/7 of our remaining games—one being United—and draw 1, we'll get top 4. 73 (with GD) should be enough imo. I don't see it like 2013-14 where we got 4th with 79 points.

I hope you're right. Even if means Wenger resigning.

That season though, so crazy! 5th place Everton beat our runners up point total from last year and 3 teams would have finished higher than Leicester's miracle title. Don't forget the beloved Moyes at United though! (Shame he ended RVP's career by stopping him do his calibrated training regimen and forcing him to train like the youngsters.)

That year, little Tommy Vermaelen was our captain. He's only played 17 league games since then.

After the 0-0 Manchester derby, we once again control our own destiny for top 4.

We have a game in hand on United plus a head-to-head with them. (Big) if we win out with a GD more than Liverpool's, we'll be in the top 4, no matter what else happens in the table.

Wenger is gonna do it again, fam - this meme is incredible :rofll:

Not gonna happen, we will not make top 4.

I see since my previous previous post Arsenal's odds went from 10/1 to 6/1 to pretty much 4.5/1 ..... I don't like the direction those numbers are falling in !

With Manure focusing on the europa league and hopefully Liverpool choking, we might make it. This would probably be Wenger's greatest achievement in 12 years if he gets top 4.

I'd rather we focus on FA cup than 4th place. We beat Chelsea earlier this season and we can do it again as long as our first XI stays fit.

Seriously? having spent 300m in three years to then finish behind Leicester and a season later Spuds, both of whom have spent a fraction of that and have a salary budget way less than ours? that's his greatest achievement of the decade ... wow to most people that would be a massive fail ....
