You lads are kidding, right?

In negative 10 temperature and on their artificial turf, we would do quite well to avoid injuries and return home with an away goal. I would take a 0-0 easily.

Play the so called second string at Ostursund and our first team at home.

The first leg is after the North London derby and the second leg is before Man City at home. In between, we have to play a FA Cup tie.

Need to be careful.

Can you believe us winning this has now become a long shot with our thread bare squad.

Remember when fans thought we were too good for it ...........

We can puff our chests out in the early rounds but watch our arses start twitching when we get to the later rounds.

Lol at any Arsenal fan thinking we're too good to win a European trophy, because we have such a prestigious track record in Europe, right?

Nope, I still think we will walk into the final.

I see no reason to change my opinion. We are just as useless as we were last season and the season before that. But we are too good for most of the teams in the Europa League. 98% of them would get whopped by us over 2 legs.

Inb4 we play a reserve team and are 3-1 down after the first leg and go out on away goals

Mate, I get the confidence but never underestimate Wenger's ability to f**k it all up with his arrogance.

People seriously underestimate EL teams in the latter stages. Utd scraped through to the final because a Celta Vigo player missed an open goal in stoppage time. They also only just beat an Ajax team full of kids by 1-0.

Had Sevilla been eliminated in the CL group stages like they usually are, it would have been 4 ELs in a row for them.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Once Sanchez and Ozil go, we will be in midtable mediocrity. The days of playing in the EL will seem like the good old days.

Nah, just our income will ensure that we stay in the EL/almost challenging for CL categories. Then Wenger can claim in 2038 that he managed to be in Europa League for 20 years, now that he's finally out of it, it doesn't matter?

It's not even that. Plenty of clubs with a non-existent or negligible record in Europe have gone on and win the EL.

Sevilla had 0 European trophies before they went on and win it 5 times within a space of 10 years.

The difference is that they've had managers in charge with the required tactical contrivance to be successful in Europe.
