EL Finalists - Sevilla, Utd, Chelsea, Atletico,

FA Cup finalists - Wigan, Hull City, Aston Villa, Southamptoon

Those teams are in the EL final because they failed at the top European competition that year. It’s not much to be proud of. Being in it from the start, even less so.

And as for the FA Cup, yeah it’s great to win it, but it’s not enough. Our manager has won three in the last five years, and he’s been sacked - and rightly so. Because he has failed to reach the levels that the club and the fans demand.

We are not a Europa League side. I will not accept that.

teams who get relegated fight like hell to get back to EPL by doing weel where they are.

we are in europa, we should fight like hell to win, to get back to the UCL, no? ( in the EPL top 4 too)

Yes, makes sense, if Auba and Laca leaves by the end of this year, we'll be in EL for another year or two, and afterwards, just the league, FA, Caribo, etc. Beyond that, .... shudder to think.

Re: The positive energy thread

There is no positive energy, i think every team in the league fancies their chance against us, home or away because all everyone does is park the bus and counter the shit out of us which we can't defend.

We can't create anything cos the d***head head coach has dropped our main playmaker all season.

So we have gone from a great attacking unit with a shit defence, to a shit attacking unit with a shit defence.

The only positive i can see is Gabriel Martinelli.

Poch struggled with Spurs this season - with a squad vastly suprier to ours in all areas.
He's not the answer.
We need a manager who can get the best from a mid table squad.

You mean after their players publicly stated that they wanted to leave amidst a major transition to their over-expensive stadium, with Levy not providing adequate funds to bolster the squad?

Color me surprised.

He took, as UFGN likes to put it, the filth to a UCL Final and to touching distance of the Premier League title, whilst making them a regular in the top-4.

He did this with Spurs. He made Spurs so fashionable that a manager like Jose was interested in taking over and took over.

Poch is the answer.

I don't care what he did with Spurs. At their worst under Pochettino they had a vastly better squad than we do.
Any manager who tries to play attacking football with our squad is going to fail.
