Balogun is twice the footballer Eddie is just admit it.

Balogun is doing in 15mins what takes Eddie whole games or more to do.

Congrats to Eddie being our top scorer but his talent level will never see him become AFC's no1.

Balogun on the other hand looks like he could be the next big thing.

To be fair Jay, Balogun looks next level compared to Nketiah!! I could get excited about Balogun (no homo), Nketiah leaves me flat (no homo).

I was not comparing him to Balogun.
I think Balogun shows some real promise and is quite clearly a better technical footballer.
Eddie is a goal poacher and is currently our top scorer in the squad - that's not too shabby for a 21yr old kid.
He's on track to get 20 goals this season across all competitions and is currently scoring at a rate of a goal every 155 minutes.

If Balogun can progress well he has a shot, but right now he is in the early stages.
I rate him, but actually not as highly as Martinelli.

So far its:
Martinelli > Balogun > Nketiah.

At this point I don't see how you can start Eddie ahead of Balogun, Balogun holds up the ball far better than Eddie does. If Arteta is serious about dropping Laca behind the forwards then Balogun has to start alongside Auba for me.

Except for the fact that Eddie’s scored more than the other two combined.

Good poacher, whether he can do it at the elite level remains to be seen

You can only score if you are being played.

Baloguns goal per minute is superior.

Balogen has scored against very weak sides in closing stages of games were cruising in. Good stuff, but not an indication of how he’d do for 90 min in the league. Eddie is way ahead of him in development. It’s not fair to compare them. Let Balogen be eased in. Meanwhile make the most of a guy who is a dependable goal getter.

Except in 61 mins of first team football in the Europa League he has scored 2 goals and got 1 assist. 20 mins per contribution to a goal.

Eddie on the other hand has in 450 mins of Europa League football scored 3 goals. 150 mins per contribution to a goal.

No brainer for me really

It was 1-2 to us when Balogun came on and got the assist for the 3rd goal.

But my dear, Eddie has started every EL game this season whereas Folarin has come on twice once the game was already won. You really can’t compare their mins per contribution. That is not to say Balogen isn’t an exciting talent. He absolutely is. But dropping Eddie for him is probably impulsive.

Nketiah has also scored a match-winner in the PL and scored also against Leicester in the Cup - his actual rate of scoring at all levels is about the same.
Right now Eddie is our top scorer - ahead of Laca and Auba.
You don't dump a kid who is your TOP scorer for a younger kid who is further back in development.

Some people are getting carried away.
