Good first half, very quiet second.
Looked out of steam.

Two strikers out, yet Balogun's not even on the bench.

Balogun has been poor this season and so far hasn't had a minute in the PL.

I agree he should get a chance, but lots of talk about a kid who is way behind Nketiah at the same age.

Wonder how we got him to sign a new contract, I’m happy he stayed but in theory he’s an idiot lol, should have taken Bayern Leverkusens offer, after a season or two with them Bayern would have have bought him to replace lewandowski

So Wrighty doesn’t have his nose up Eddie’s anymore. Guess he knows he isn’t going to make it. Fair weather.

Wrighty never had his 'nose up' Nketiah.
He was excited about a young Arsenal player scoring goals for fun at every level he played at and cheering him on to make the step up to the PL.
Problem with that?

As for 'fair weather' - slagging off Wrighty puts you exactly in that bracket. You clearly don't understand much about this club.

Wrighty can be pretty cringey but at least he backs Arsenal and is a true gunner. Better than the likes of Keown and Dixon who can’t spend enough time slagging the club off.

Smith is alright but he’s too nice and soft, doesn’t have the fire to strongly back Arsenal in adversity like Wrighty would.

Why is that? Because he was happy an Arsenal player he likes scored a goal?
What's cringey is that you seem to have a problem with Arsenal players scoring and ex player being happy about it all because the player being celebrated is not one YOU like.
You're not much of a fan.
Whether you like a player or not you celebrate when they score or do something good.

It's just very strange that an ex-player celebrating a current young player scoring a goal would get under your skin so much.
All because you don't like the player being cheered on.
Very odd.

The problem with Eddie is he does the basics so badly, his first touch is much too heavy, he has almost zero anticipation the number of times he's on his heels and the defender gets a yard start, and he seems to have the lungs of a twenty a day smoker he always ends up looking knackered. He's 22 with 38 EPL games under his belt, yet he still looks like a frightened teenager ...

This season is done, so play him in the last five games and he either steps up or he's gone ... we simply can't afford to keep squad players who deep down we all know probably won't ever make the grade.

Well, PL wise he's only played 1,125 minutes.
Most of his games he's got a few minutes.
He's only started 11 games in 4 years.
Time is running out on him, unfortunately.

Yesterday his first touch was good, he looked more able to hold off defenders and his decision making on passing and bringing others in was good. - in the first half.
Second half you are right about his fitness... he looked shot from about 50 minutes on.

There is no doubt he needed to make it this year. He should play the last 5 games to try and boost his transfer fee.
