I can't understand it. The supposed thinking behind Auba not starting through the middle comes down to the fact that he's a low touch player and can't link up play. Yet Arteta plays Nketiah there who also has a similar issue and needs service for tap ins. A leopard can't change it's spot so at least have a strong creative presence all around him in this game. Starting Elneny, Xhaka with Willian behind him....it's a recipe for disaster. We don't have e a striker in the that would play well in that set up.

Sanogo wasn’t that bad tbf his hold up play and link up play was actually good something Eddie lacks.

Can’t forget his masterclass against Dortmund and his contribution to winning FA cup final against Hull.
