Wrighty never had his 'nose up' Nketiah.
He was excited about a young Arsenal player scoring goals for fun at every level he played at and cheering him on to make the step up to the PL.
Problem with that?

As for 'fair weather' - slagging off Wrighty puts you exactly in that bracket. You clearly don't understand much about this club.

This made me cringe :naughty:

Why is that? Because he was happy an Arsenal player he likes scored a goal?
What's cringey is that you seem to have a problem with Arsenal players scoring and ex player being happy about it all because the player being celebrated is not one YOU like.
You're not much of a fan.
Whether you like a player or not you celebrate when they score or do something good.

Lol what’s with the hate Jay? Just my opinion.

It's just very strange that an ex-player celebrating a current young player scoring a goal would get under your skin so much.
All because you don't like the player being cheered on.
Very odd.

Nah, I just think Ian is a bit phony. He’s always trying to play the super fan and I find that a bit tacky. He’s a legend and he shouldn’t try and act like he’s a pubber on aftv. Just my opinion.

EliteKiller wrote:The problem with Eddie is he does the basics so badly, his first touch is much too heavy, he has almost zero anticipation the number of times he's on his heels and the defender gets a yard start, and he seems to have the lungs of a twenty a day smoker he always ends up looking knackered. He's 22 with 38 EPL games under his belt, yet he still looks like a frightened teenager ...

This season is done, so play him in the last five games and he either steps up or he's gone ... we simply can't afford to keep squad players who deep down we all know probably won't ever make the grade.

He’s a good poacher. But they don’t play those traditional poachers any more in modern day football. The new CF is a busy man. He has to hold the ball up, link play, press, and be in finishing positions. All a bit much for Eddie.

Hahaha again...nooooo. You’re reading a bit too much into this. Take a look at the video I linked and tell me that isn’t Wrighty acting like a geezer on aftv. I don’t care if DT or Troopz does it but not an Arsenal legend. I find it crass.

You can't possibly have been an Arsenal fan for very long - or you've been a casual fan. The way Wrighty was acting is the way he has always acted.

Watching Nketiah lead the line against Villarreal is going to be painful, worse than watching Bendtner lead the line against Barcelona in the quarter final of the CL.

Although tbf Bendtner did his job and got a goal, the team we had out especially the defence was pub level, but even so Barcelona were the best team init the world then even with our full XI we would have lost

Yeah, it will be hard to watch. If we created more chances it wouldn't be as bad, but we don't.

Martinelli needs to lead the line.
ESR or pepe on the left, Saka on the right.

Wenger took this lot to the Nou Camp against prime Barcelona. The man had some balls.
Almunia
Sagna
Vermaelen
Silvestre
Clichy
Denilson
Diaby
Walcott
Nasri
Rosicky
Bendtner

Nothing wrong with most of those players, in their prime they’d walk into this squad :rofll:
