Seems like it's all about the money rather than playing for him

Depends what they offered him.
If they offered him a fraction of what he was already on then he'd probably be better staying put and trying to get some game time here.

Yeah typical modern footballer by the sounds of it. If he wanted to play he would have left, he prefers to sit it out and leave for free for a big pay day next summer.

Shame of it is that he’s rubbish and we had a chance to get some money for him, now that’s evaporated.

Hope he gets sent to the reserves for the year.

Compare that to the attitude of AMN who just wants to play. Yet we alienate the player that wants to play and do nothing with the money lover

Exactly credit to AMN for choosing playing over money. He’s been messed about something chronic by us, he’s gone from England international to barely ever playing.

Yes. But they can only be registered to play in January.

This seems like a crazy decision. He isn't getting in ahead of Laca or Auba. Even Balogun probably has some guaranteed minutes.

There are no EL games, and only a maximum of 3 more EFL fixtures before January, assuming we win the first 2.

I can never understand the footballers happy to sit it out on the bench. Really nuts for Nketiah to turn down a deal. Did we agree a fee but the deal fell through because Nketiah couldn't agree personal terms? Very strange since he would have been starting way more games for Palace. At least he hasn't got that long to go until his deal runs out.

He's been shite at Celtic for more than a season. Maybe coz he didn't want to be there but will see.

We should have taken the 12m +25% sell on fee or smth and gotten rid of eddy, now he'll walk for free

I think its a case of "I play for Arsenal, I am better than you/your club" syndrome. Seen it so many times, the arrogance .....

Eddie said no.

Thinks he's better than Crystal Palace lol.

I mean does he really think a Everton, City or Chelsea is going to come knocking??

He needs games and he's not going to get that here, I don't know if he thinks he can sneak past Laca, Auba or Balogun but if he doesn't (which he won't) then he'll be even less in demand than he is now.

............. unless he's banking on being out of contract then can choose a from any clubs that come knocking?
