Creating chances against a team with the worst form in the league doesn't mean much.

He should of taken this opportunity to play Auba LWF and see how he does rather than play a kid who's leaving and doing us all a favor.

TBH Nketiah played well and then ruined it with that half arsed miss.
Auba gives us half arsed misses and plays shit in the rest of his game.
Take your pick.
Or more sensibly, we need a new striker.
I actually wanted Auba to come in but when he did he was lazy as f**k. The work rate has gone now too.

The difference between Eddie and PEA is that PEA has already left the club in football terms.

Eddie will go eventually. PEA should be gone NOW.

Still laughing at the fact that we rejected 10M for him and he’s leaving for free at the end of the season lol

Wenger had his flaws but he wouldn’t have been that stupid as to reject that for an average prospect, remember this is the same man who sold the worlds best CF RVP at the time for 24M due to being in the final year of his contract

I think he'll be starting tomorrow with Auba out of the squad.

Arteta and Edu are back in talks with Nketiah on a new contract.

Arteta is still hopeful of convincing Nketiah to stay, though, telling reporters: "We are having some discussions with him and his agent. I would like him to stay at the club.

"He's our player and someone that we rate. He has the Arsenal DNA in his blood. His reason [of rejecting] is that he wants to play more football."

Ridiculous.

He's not what we need, why re-sign him.

What clubs are after him? tells you all you need to know.

Jay will you be informing Arteta that Nketiah has Chelsea DNA, or should I?

Exactly the reason Arteta is not the man for the job,

Just like he did with Balo then he dropped him straight after he signed the contract.

Looks like it.

I like Nketiah. Think he’ll do ok, but he had his chance and he didn’t take it.
At the very least he should be loaned out IF he signs a new contract.
If by some miracle he jumps a level, fine. If not, sell later.
That is the only reason I can think we’d want to give him a new contract. But there is big risk of the wages are higher than anyone else would pay.
