Arsenal have knocked back a second bid from Crystal Palace for 22-year-old English striker Eddie Nketiah, whose contract runs out in the summer. (Sky Sports)

Why are we rejecting bids for someone leaving on a free in the summer?

Tells me no striker is coming in

Hilarious stuff from Edu and Teta. Their inexperience is showing.

So, instead of selling Nketiah, we're intent on letting him walk away for nothing at the end of the season. Sounds like an absolutely spotless plan to me!

To be honest, it is to be expected.

Crazy stuff! Money clearly means nothing to them.

It isn't their job to worry about money. They are in charge of the football side of things, there are other directors whose job it is to worry about money

When I say them, I mean the club. The more money you get from the sale of players, the more money you have to spend on better ones.

Since Arteta arrived we’ve been making some really odd decisions regarding players, offers for Xhaka, Nketiah and AMN rejected, players kept and never played (AMN, Balogun, AMN), contracts offered to players who shouldn’t be offered them (Mustafi, Xhaka, Holding), that’s excluding the players he’s fallen out with as well.

On top of that we’ve just let players run down their contracts, which admittedly we did before but we seem to be doing even more now, seems to be the only way we can get rid of players.

You're probably right. It's going to be tough watching for the next few months if true.

Maybe that’s the plan, we’ve got a ready made excuse then.

Couldn’t get top 4 because there were no forwards available.

That would be a poor excuse given the Auba situation. He'll have to play him.

Honestly take the money and run, dunno why we rejected Palace offer of 10Million in the summer that was way too generous

He rejected them mate, unfortunately for us.

Makes no sense not to sell him now, I’d rather have 1 striker for the next 4 months and take some ££. He’s not offering anything anyway.

Why did he reject Palace? Where does he think he belongs?

Was the wages I believe, we accepted the bid and he somehow didn’t agree terms with them. Should be happy to go play football but preferred to sit on our bench and moan.
