He played 12 league games under Emery and never scored
Got his 1 league goal at Southampton under arteta

He bagged a few assists if I recall, and scored in the 5-5 against Pool in the League cup.

My point is we were a more free scoring side back then

We have scored 27 league goals so that was where I drew the comparison
Willock never got a league assist under Emery
He got 1 at wolves last season under Arteta

Joe Willock has said he is open to remaining at Newcastle.

The midfielder joined on loan from Arsenal in January and has made a bright start on Tyneside, despite the Magpies’ struggles, and he would consider an offer to stay.

"I love playing for Newcastle," he is quoted as saying by the Sun.

“When I first came here, I was a bit apprehensive of how I would take to it because I’d never left Arsenal.

“But as I came here and settled in and saw the love from the fans that I’m receiving, of course I’d love to continue playing here.”

We'd do well to get 15m out of them, potentially more. Might well depend on them staying in the league though.

I believe that it often gets misconstrued that the purpose and objective of a club's football academy is to provide a pathway into the first team squad, when it actually is not.

The primary objective is to provide its students with the opportunities for a career in football even if that entails ending up playing football for another club.

That is why for me, Alan Shearer is probably still the best example to highlight to scholars.

Newcastle hope to sign Joe Willock on a permanent basis this summer.

Willock has impressed while on loan from Arsenal and could make the move permanent for £20 million ($28m).

Head coach Steve Bruce told reporters: "He’s a young lad and I’d love to keep him here and we will have some big conversations with Arsenal."

Milk them for 35m. Point to trash solanke and Brewster and then point to willock. Performance justified, price justified

Sell with a buy back clause. Bring him back when we have a manager that can develop youth players.

He might be pulling a pension by then.

This.

I will not be surprised if Arsenal fans start clamouring for him to come back to Arsenal, not on your Van Nelly Mate !
