ESR went out on loan to RB Leipzig on January 31st of last season but picked up a long-term injury which meant he spent most of his time in Germany on the sidelines.

I see. So he’s back? Good. Hope he gets minutes ahead of Xhaka.

Think he is more suited in the middle instead of in the wings. But, he has to adapt if he wishes to play in the first team.

Great talent, he has looked so good every time he has played for us.

More playing time is what he needs. More start in PL, even as a sub.

If you clone Chamberlain and Ramsey, you'd get ESR from what I've seen of him so far.

Playing-style wise.

Concussion. They took him off as precaution. Should be back within a week

A shame that whenever he starts to get a run of games at youth level and has the opportunity in a senior comp he seems to get injured

Probably still the most talented and ready member of the crop with Saka, was hoping Reiss kicked on but he has a lot of developing to do

It’s difficult developing guys like Nketiah and smith Rowe. How do you give them the needed game time? Good loans are challenging to get. Just look at the tragedy with Gnabry as an example.

This is why I wished we had a setup like Chelsea and Vitesse.
