Ashley Cole had already established himself as the best left back in the country and had already won titles with Arsenal by the time he left. He was 25/26 when he left.

ESR may leave eventually but I can't see him wanting to leave now for money or trophies. He's purely focused on playing and regular first team football.

ESR also doesn't come across as a f***ing c*** so any comparison to cashley ends there.

He won't leave for another two seasons. As PnG said, these are vital years of his development. Even his agent wouldn't advise him to leave right now. He has a golden opportunity to establish himself as a top CAM here.

If this clownery at the club continues, however, I think he will leave in 2023 or 2024.

Yeah, only way I can see him leaving this season is if we really screw up and can't reassure him of game time.

I wouldn't totally rely on that, better money or a club competing for things could turn his head.

He's not leaving. These are his vital development years and he's just broken into the first team after gaining the managers trust. It would be a massive mistake to leave now for money or a better club. He'd be starting from ground zero if he left and a bigger club won't give him time to develop or settle If he doesn’t hit the ground running.

If he weren't getting enough games like Nketiah, AMN, Willock or Balogun, then maybe he should consider leaving. Like Saka, he'll sign a new deal.

There is no better club than Arsenal

I'd argue that the europa league run cost us a few places and we should be classed as 'better' than the europa league clubs who didn't go as far as us.

I think you mean Arteta cost us a few places, not the EL.

I mean Man U, Chelsea and City all went far in Europe and got into the top 4 anyway.
