Shame on me to even post such a topic, but I WILL admit it, I've been so out of touch with Arsenal, I think the last game i ever saw them play was the League Cup final, and that too I didn't get to assess a few players I wanted to watch

so goonerbuddies, I'd like your honestly feedback on what you have thought of the following players

a)Denilson

b)Tomas Rosicky

c)Alexander Hleb * i know he's been around for more than a season but he's still new to me :P *

d)William Gallas

I look forward to your thoughts :)

Rosicky i think is a fantastic player, given another season to settle & i really believe we will have found the perfect replacement for Bobby.

Dennilson, still very young but showing glimpses of how good he can be, but i think once the balance is right in the squad he will become a great player for us.

Gallas...cant argue this signing, Immense player & gives it his all, his work rate is fantastic, even though a defender good at getting forward too.

Hleb.....im not convinced, he's a bit of a playmaker but is still too lightweight & gives the ball away too easily. He's had time to adjust & im swayed to think that teh prem is too physical for him.

I think everyone as done well not to sure about Hleb i don't think he is good enough for arsenal and don't think he ever will be.

a)Denilson - Looks likea great prospect for the future plays in the Gilberto role for Brazil but has been used as a more attacking type midfielder for Arsenal so far so i think we need to see a lot more of him in the future in his real position before i can make a judgment TBH

b)Tomas Rosicky - Has Shown glimpses of brilliance but has been a bit inconsistent so far I'd like to see him in more of a central role as it suits his style of play better lose possession far too easily but is one of our only players willing to shoot from 25 Yards +

c)Alexander Hleb - great player i really like him still has a long way to go to be at his best but his work rate is second to none on the pitch and has amazing skills when it goes right for him one of my favorite players the new Freddie IMO

d)William Gallas - Now surprisingly I'm gonna go against everyone else and say so far he's been disappointing he showed glimpses of brilliance when he first came then he got injured and since he's beens back fit we've lost 3 and Drawn 1 co-incidence ? still has a long way to go to prove his worth to me !

Also it might be worth noting Fran Merida in that lot he's running the show for the reserves from what i hear & was held in higher esteem than Cesc at Barca and from the clips and stuff i've seen of him he's a magical player keep your eyes peeled he's gonna set the premiership alight mark my words :)

Lol, everyone forgot Walcott. My reviews...

Walcott: Showed glimpses of what he's about, but he has had more moments in the England U-21 than in Arsenal colours. Great resemblance to Thierry Henry's style of play, hopefully he'll be more productive when he starts next season.

Rosicky: Excellent player. Sometimes tends to be anonymous, and looks like he has a lot more goals in him than what we've seen so far.

Hleb: Always energetic, always running. Hasn't turned around crucial matches for Arsenal, but then, has seen much of his set-up play go to waste due to poor finishing. Might have more luck once Henry and RvP return.

Denilson: In two words... 'bloody good'. Good combative midfielder, makes lots of excellent runs forward.

Gallas: Well, he's good I guess. But has not quite been able to create a watertight defence. If he keeps getting injured, it will have a bad effect on our consistency, I fear. Hopefully we'll have him free of injuries next season.

Denilson - Fabs' younger borther isn't it? f***ing quality.

Gallas - Before last night, i'd have been inclined to agree with Piston, but he was f***ing top drawer last night, proved his quality. Will be important to keep him fit for next season.

Rosicky - Classy player, 2 good feet, awesome change of direction and turn of pace. Wish he'd shoot more.

Hleb - Quality player, very similar to Super Tom, like RV said, his creative work has largely been let down by poor finishing. He needs some shooting practise.

Walcott - Lots of hype, not so sure if he'll ever live up to it, a footballer is more than pace. I hope he makes the grade, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him fall by the side. I'm usually wrong, so he'll probably go on to be the World's Greatest.

Billy Gallas wil be going next season, he cant wait for your kids to mature at his age, he will have realised he has wasted a whole season by joining the gooners, he will join real in the summer.
I bet he regrets leaving the blues for you lot now.
