My only issue is that we insist on playing our shite 3rd kits when we don't have to

Swansea were all white yesterday and we played in the neon shit

Clubs sell their souls for the big bucks and so it came to pass that any tenuous link with tradition is used to shift the latest kit. While the tradition of Arsenal wearing red whenever possible is forgotten.

The bigger the kit deal, the less control Arsenal will have on what they wear and when. Makes you wonder why they don't just set up their own sportswear company and bag all the proceeds. The major players in replica kits wouldn't pay £50m if they didn't make a healthy profit from the deal.

Economies of scale though. For Arsenal to sell our own kits we wouldn't have the infrastructure to sell it globally, but Puma already has all that from the rest of their product. Puma expanding to include arsenal is cheaper than arsenal selling it individually.

And that's just one of many arguments against clubs producing their own kits

Don't really rate Puma but this kit is the best one they've produced for us, it's a shame we didn't use it more often or keep it for another season.

What are you guys talking about?

Last season's home (red and white) and away (gold) are two of my all time favourite Arsenal jerseys.

It's all about money ... 'gold' ticks all the boxes in the Asian market ... here's the latest available list of shirt sales ... Leicester sneak in at 12 but no Man City or Spuds ... interesting that Keisuke Honda is the biggest seller at AC even though he hardly plays ....

1. Manchester United (approx. 2,850,000) – Paul Pogba
2. Real Madrid (approx. 2,290,000) – Cristiano Ronaldo
3. Barcelona (approx. 1,980,000) – Lionel Messi
4. Chelsea (approx. 1,650,000) – Eden Hazard
5. Bayern Munich (approx. 1,500,000) – Robert Lewandowski
6. Arsenal (approx. 1,125,000) – Mesut Özil
7. Juventus (approx. 850,000) – Gonzalo Higuaín
8. Liverpool (approx. 805,000) Philippe Coutinho
9. PSG (approx. 685,000) – Ángel Di María
10. AC Milan (approx. 650,000) – Keisuke Honda
11. Atletico Madrid (approx. 500,000) – Antoine Griezmann
12. Leicester City (approx. 350,000) – Jamie Vardy

Slightly off topic, does anyone know where I can brand new retro Arsenal tops?

They don't have to be 10+ years old even something from the last few seasons will do.

Best home shirt Puma have done, nice deep red.

Don't like the collar or buttons though.

Not just the home one but the set in general is the best they've done tbh still prefer Nike, Adidas and maybe even Umbro.

On a side note does anyone know if reebok make football kits?

Always annoys me... why not make all three have the collar? Having one without bugs me big time.

These kits always look better on the players tho.
