Strikes me as another player we huge hopes in and for some reason his development has just stalled. Hasn't really kicked on in 2 years.

He's never got a run of 3-4 games to show what he's capable of. He didn't exactly shine when he got to play though.

he was better than sancho when they played in the local youth team, how the fuk does one go on to be world class and the other (which is obviously with us) doesn't?

send him out to a team in the pl or europe and force him to make the mark or sell next year.

Would defo be in favor of sending him on loan to a BuLi or Spanish side.

Why he’s already been on loan to a bundesliga team once, if anything the best development is a loan at a BPL side

Crystal Palace are among the clubs keen to secure Nelson's whilst Brighton and Hove Albion and Burnley have also been linked with the 20-year-old.

Nelson did not want to leave this club at the start of the summer but as his frustration mounts over his limited opportunities to prove his worth to Arteta he is understood to be more open to a temporary move away from the Emirates Stadium.

I can't see him getting much more game time at Crystal Palance as they have Zaha and Townsend. I don't know about Burnleys and Brightons winger options. I would rather have him here, he'll get enough games in the early phases of Europe and the cup, can still be loaned out in January, when he's less needed.

A move to Brighton would be class

Good young manager
Great attacking patterns & play
A forward three of Reiss, Maupay & Trossard would be fun to watch

He's not better than March.

If March is a winger.

Worrying that Arteta would rather play Willock outwide instead of Nelson, let’s not make the same mistake we did with Gnabry and develop the wrong talent Willock being the Iwobi in this case.

Shape him into a new Alexis Sanchez. Pick the ball up early, turn and burst into the box. Take on players and cut in and score. Reiss has the close in ball control and finishing. He just needs to strengthen and have that relentless hunger and work ethic that Sanchez had.

The way the club handled the development of Reiss is atrocious. This kid scored some great goals for Hoffenheim at 18 but we did fck all with that talent.

If I was him I would push for a permanent move in January. The people in charge including Arteta are clueless. First team players can have shit game after shit game and won't be dropped, but god forbid Reiss only plays decent for 55min in the cup and he won't be seen for another 3 months.

If we're hoping Nelson is our saviour we're in bigger trouble than I thought.
