Selling him to City ends our title hopes before they've even started. Think he'll stay personally, Wenger's got two years left and is ruthless when time is against him. Would be a cowardly move if we moved Alexis on

So he's gone to City. We should try to get Aguero in return. Straight swap.

Aguero - Laca
-----Özil

Özil will break all assisting records in such a formation

Aguero would never join us.

Probably not, but I don't think he wants to be a backup for Gabriel Jesus either. I don't think he likes Pep. Neither does Pep seem fond of him.
We should offer him the same wages Alexis would have gotten here, promise him the starting spot and hope for the best.

We get 50m for Sanchez now we might no make cl, with Sanchez and Laca plus no cl football it would require a massive f**k up not getting to the cl. Once we make cl we make 40m back off losing Sanchez fee.

If we have a good season Sanchez might stay to.

Alexis' decision will play such a big role. I can't wait to know what he decides. Let's pray he stays

yeah could you imagine we're blitzing the League by January (unlikely but still), Alexis might even still stay who knows. there's no negatives for him staying regardless of a contract extension bar the £50m we'd lose out on which doesnt really matter to a club as rich as Arsenal

I'd rather we "save" money by not buying Laca for £50mil then sell Sanchez now so he doesn't leave on a free next season.

Amidst all this chaos I do wonder where Alexis would fit in at city. He's been dubbed the death of wenger ball by a few on here lol. An obvious exaggeration but that does not really fit pep's mo? + Sane looked brilliant last season why would you want to bench him... will he play up front for them? Aguero would need to go. I think de bryune plays on the right for them... no doubt they'll make space but it's not really an obvious deal for them to do.

Sanchez is one of the best in the world and there's a spot for him in every team in the world bar Barcelona imo

Don't call him the death of Wengerball, apparently that's banworthy, or so I've experienced.......

Seriously though, he will not fit at all in Pep's system of ball retention.

What are you basing this claim on?

Plus, time is never against Wenger, he can stay until he dies if he wants.
