I thought we settled this last season. Play both, if in unlikely scenario both get injured, Pepe can also play as a striker, we have Martinelli, we can even recall Nketiah. But they're not both going to get long term injuries. It's a non issue.

Yes we can.

........... but, I'm sure there will be rotation, i,e sub Auba at half time or sub Laca and switch Auba up front, or we play one in the prem and one in the cup / europa games.

Its good to give both regular minutes as it keeps them sharp and happy to get games, we can't afford to piss either off by benching them too much, we need them on it.

This is if we're controlling the game by the way.

We won't have to run them both down for 90mins every game that's for sure, not with Pepe adding to our attack along with strong skilfull players like Cebellos behind them etc.

I prefer Maitland-Niles there to Mustafi.

Let's not forget that, following Clyne's departure, Chambers initially made a name for himself at Southampton as RB.

His lack of pace meant that, after his transfer to Arsenal, he moved to more central roles such as DM and CB. Two positions where pace is less essential.

All-in-all, really not the worst third choice RB option to have.
