Elneny doesn't have the speed to attack from the wings neither to chase down speedy wingers. He's suited to where he plays- in the middle. His safe short passing, interception and begin a move from the back are his forte.

Not sure I understand this but I think it is saying that Saka and ESR are our most effective/reliable players.

Totally agree with that.

I went with players named on the official website and since Guendouzi is still listed as one of our players on the official website, I also considered him as an option

Keep Lacazette and Aubameyang along with the striker roster being filled with Martinelli and Balogun with no preferencial treatment permitted for the seniors including need to accommodate the captain/vice captain as currently designated.

As things stand.

Formation: 4-3-3

Starting XI:

Leno*;

Cedric*, White, Magalhaes', Tierney (C);

Partey, Lokonga, Smith-Rowe;

Pepe, Martinelli, Saka.

*Earmarked for a preferencial upgrade.

If we start 4-2-3-1:

We'd have Saka who can play LWB, Tierney LCB and White RCB. If we sign a RB who is good at attacking then without the ball it could be more of a back five:

The ability to do this mid-game without making subs would be good.
