He’s technically strong, has a great work rate and keeps the ball moving. He can play like Ramsey which is a quality we are lacking. Play him deeper. Let him pick up the ball from the CBs and start our attack.
I noted that in my posts.
When we couldn't break Norwich down Arteta took off Lokonga & Tomi and put on ESR & Partey, moving AMN to RB, which switched our midfield from a ...............
2- 1
to a
1 -2
Which is basically how our midfield was under Wenger, Arsene when he switched to 4-5-1 played one CDM and two CAM / CM's in his central midfield.
So it would be a CDM like Song with Rosicky and Ramsey ahead of him or Coquelin with Cazorla and Ozil ahead.
Yesterday after the subs we had Partey as the deep CDM/CM and ESR & Odegaard ahead.
Its a simple revert to a Wenger midfield, I doubt that is Arteta "the control freaks" long term plan though, it was more of desperation for us not opening up Norwich with 20mins to go.
