It was a masterclass by the manager - the way he used Saka and Jesus today and the effort they put in to make the gameplan work was tremendous.
Personally, i think we should have gone for City, but Mikel is the manager and comes away from the Etihad with a point - being the first manager in 3 years to stop them from scoring there.

 of course it isn’t, we parked the bus and the only reason Man City didn’t win is because of their own defficiencies, our possession football style where we ‘dominate’ all opposition really got shown up today when we got completely ‘dominated’

Big wengz would have gone all out and attacked, most of the time we end up getting destroyed by 3+ goals but it would occasionally work lol

If we won 1-0 with same possession you would have been calling it a masterclass

Quite a lot of talk about Arteta’s tactical masterclass against his old boss.
He’s certainly had the better of Pep this year.
3 games and only 1 goal conceded.
4 pts from 6 in the league.
I think the reason we are the best team in the league is because we can play so many ways - with Arteta pulling the strings on what is needed and when.
Let’s hope we can hold our nerve in the run in - really it’s the only thing that could stop us given our superiority over City and Liverpool this year.

No we didn't !!!

Parking the bus is showing no ambition yet we had more chances to score than them.

When Fergie used to come to the Emirates and sit back and hit us on the counter and win nobody said he parked the bus, everyboidy said it was a tactical masterclass.

We didn't even come to sit back, we were forced back - big difference. How do I know that ? Because in those games Fergie would pick his most defensive midfielders specifically for that game.

Ferguson teams were always attacking, they gave as good as they got which is what made the games so great to watch.

We won some and some, remember some classics.

Early Wenger and Ferguson sides were very entertaining and played great football that excited the fans.

The only time I remember a team sitting back in those days was the cup final in 2005, that we ended winning even though we were second best.

The reason is he did it with substandard teams later on in his career, in the first half of his spell his teams were good enough to go to to toe with their rivals and deservedly won.

Pretty much and he really should have scored, it was a simple chance.
