The board demonised Usmanov to a point where even the fan groups had been duped to parade with anti-Usmanov banners. This was back when we were fully in our "self-sufficient, no big spending, won't be classless and throw money like others" model and people believed that Enos wanted to keep the establishment as it was.

And so he has with an additional extra spending. However, money is all he is interested in. He doesn't care about the team as much as the old board did. They would take action if something wasn't right, even if that decision turned out to be foolish (Sacking David Dein). Enos just doesn't do anything, he sits back and watches the money only.
