C'mon, Kroenkes FFS! This is a perfect time to get something anything from the league.

So, we signed Partey without any extra money from Kroenke or what?

speculation on the arsecast that the restructuring of the stadium loan & bonds freed up the cash reserves to make the partey deal possible

The Athletic wrote today that Kroenke splashed the cash the make the Thomas deal happen. Good business unless he wanted to finish 5th or lower once again.

Good to see he's playing his part but I'm wondering if this contingency plan was always in place or did someone have to put an emergency call in? Heads may roll if it's the latter and especially if this transfer doesn't have the right impact.

The Athletic article was frustratingly vague—they didn't specify if KSE actually invested money to pay for Partey or if they offered some sort of loan. I read that they offered to underwrite the deal but that just means they promise to pay if Arsenal took out a loan and we couldn't pay it, which would never happen.
