Add the Colorado Avalanche to the list of his teams doing well.

Just won the Stanley Cup Finals. I believe it’s been over 20 years since their last Stanley Cup final win.

The light at the end of the tunnel might come sooner rather than later.
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

If Kroenke had lavished Wenger with the kind of money he’s giving Edu and Arteta we would’ve won the leave a couple of times more by now.

It was never the lack of money with Wenger, we had big cash reserves. It was just that he never wanted to spend it. Everything was Bargain Hunt to him!

Yep and that market died when certain clubs started spending and messing with the books. Wenger never adepted to the changing transfer market and send us into a hole we're still trying to get out of now.

only a handful of clubs can still manage it.. which are ajax and dortmund. maybe a few others.

Wenger was given 50m for Lacazette then 60m for Auba 6 months later.

He spent 35m on Mustafi.

32m on Xhaka.

He was given plenty of money but spent it on dross.

2015/16 season made this clear. We only signed Peter Cech and then Elneny in the January window. Leicester ends up winning the league.

Wrong. He wanted to sign Hazard, Kante, Mata and many others like them and was always denied those few extra dollars that would’ve made it possible.

Kante went in 2016 to Chelsea for 30m

We bought Xhaka in 2016 for 30m

Chelsea finished 10th previous season. We were 2nd and in the CL

Kante would've come to us but Wenger wanted xhaka

Wrong again. Gazidis bought Xhaka and Mustafi based on statDNA. This is well known.

There are a few reasons why Colorado Avalanche's success is unlikely to be either down to the Kroenkes or replicable by Arsenal.

The NHL, like the other major North American sports leagues, has a draft system where the worst performing teams get a chance to draft early. That's exactly how the Avalanche have built the bulk of their core; they performed awfully for so long that they could draft big prospects who eventually blossomed into superstardom. No such reward exists for performing poorly in the Premier League.

Another difference is that the NHL has a salary cap. This eliminates the advantage of cash rich franchises and, crucially, limits the need for cash injections by the owners. The NHL also has a revenue sharing mechanism where the highest earning franchises distribute revenue around to poorer franchises. No such mechanisms exist in the Premier League.

While the Avalanche named a franchise legend as their GM who turned out to be an extremely savvy operator, they wouldn't have won the Stanley Cup without the aforementioned factors. In the Premier League where cash is king and horrid form is only punished, the Avalanche model simply won't work.

I don't think the Kroenkes will go to the lengths needed to get us back to winning titles. I see little evidence for it.

Club is falling behind financially.

Even Spurs turn over more than us.

City's numbers definitely inflated.

Despite our current success, the underlying problem is still there.
