A lot were overpaid and have been rubbish or utilised badly by the manager.

I have been saying this for a while now.

Not only are we a poorly managed football team, we are also extremely poor business wise.

Arsenal absolutely does not understand investments, how to grow them, and how to cash out on them. Combined with poor management of the team, it is a recipe for disaster, which is why we are in the state that we are in.

Our transfer dealings are a joke compared to the other top 6 clubs. I did some analysis a little while back, the amount we lose on players takes the piss compared to other clubs.

Arsenal have spent 515M and recouped 253M from player sales over the last 10 years, which gives us a deficit of 262M, which is the sixth highest deficit in the BPL.

That is a ridiculous amount of money for a club without a rich owner like us, things need to change and now!

Bad management - we let contracts run down and give all the power to agents and players. I personally think we've had some corruption at the club where contracts were purposely run down to facilitate moves and backhanders.
No player should go under 2 years - sell them immediately if a player won't extend when they get 2 years from the end of their contract. Don't sign anyone who won't commit to 4-5 years.

True - we'll be lucky to get 10million for Saliba and 15m for Martinelli when they leave.
Guendouzi , we'll get nothing for. Torriera we'll get nothing for.
