No matter what we think of him, we have to (somehow) get behind Mustafi. Right now, all signs point to him being a crucial player for us next season. Let's hope he improves his concentration drastically in the summer and costs us less goals.

Thank god we have kronke ar the helm to steer us through this difficult time on to better days.

Ok he hasn't put a penny into the max 100m additional private funds we can use on top of self generated funds to avoid having to use mustafi for more seasons, but that's not his fault.

it's on emery to make sure he cuts out mustafis many mistakes and limitations as the coach.

We defo stand a much better chance of success using the same players we had last year that f***ked things up because we cant afford to replace them.

Lost cause mate, Mustafi is Accidentsville!! That much is clear. No point getting behind him, the guy is like a f***ing time bomb with dodgy electrics!! The only safe Mustafi is a non-playing Mustafi.

Like you guys keep saying in other threads, it's down to the manager alone to make these players not be walking accidents.

Every other top manager could have taken this exact squad and made a success out of them.

Klopp would have managed to get lichtensteiner to adopt gegenpress in the same way trend Alexander Arnold has. He would easily have got mustafi to cut out all his mistakes or iwobi to start banging numbers like Salah.

Guardiola would have made ozil a vicious little c*** with silky passing like Silva and de bruyne have.

These guys dont need millions upon millions to finally get a squad of players together that can actually win things, they just make do with what they have.

Mustafi iwobi xhaka monreal ozil etc will be fine, it's all about training.

When you have

the same people in one thread defending kronke for not putting in money and then telling people to get behind mustafi because we arent able to replace him because we have no money.

People whining about aubas conversion rate all season and now worrying about selling the joint golden boot winner.

People claiming Carrasco isn't good enough while complaining about iwobi.

People demanding emery be sacked after improving on Wenger's bullshit from last year while simultaneously ignoring their favourite managers failures in their first and second seasons

Etc, sarcasm and highlighting the massive contradictions they are posting is the only thing you have left. ;)

Mustafi showed he is a capable defender, he played well alongside Holding then Holding got injured and when Mustafi played with Sokratis he was a nightmare. Our unbeaten run began with Mustafi in the team.

Fine for this level. I argued countlessly that the team was capable of better and it was. But if we want to win the league we need better players. Nobody ever argued that these players could be world beaters, we argued they are capable of better than we have seen. The 2 are NOT the same.

And in one post your sarcastic post is destroyed.

Mustafi should be able to be coached into a decent defender though, did he make this many blunders at Valencia or for Germany? He has the talents to be solid enough and we’ve seen it in periods but he has brain farts. Szczesny has largely cut them out with good coaching so why cant Musti?

Also Carrasco is not 30m better than Iwobi, there’s no point spending the money for marginal gains that will eventually hold us back further.

Btw Kroenke’s only problem is that he isn’t really interested, weve spent more than enough since he took over. It’s our lack of champions league holding us from getting top tier players as we can’t afford an additional 30m to get a 60m winger over a bargain bin one. He could put an occasional investment in but we’ve been hampered by wages til now as well.

I hate the toad because he doesn’t even turn up to watch us play (it’s roughly once a week and he’s a billionaire) when the Rams aren’t on, but people are over the top about him. The club has made so many changes since he came in attempt to improve, destroyed our transfer record and destroyed our wage budget multiple times, sacked our manager of 20+ years and spunked almost 100m for the new guy to improve the squad. He’s certainly not as ambitious as the likes of Roman or the owners from the top 2 but wouldn’t say he’s any worse than Spurs owners...they’ve just been smarter with their purchases and manager choice.

Unai turned a PSG defence of Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Kursawa into a circus. What chance does he have turning Mustafi into anything more than the monstosity that he is already.

Yes
Gary Neville said that Valencia couldn’t give Mustafi away.

Then Wenger signed him for £35 million.

Mustafi was part of the worst Valencia team in ages. They improved as soon as he left

We bought mustafi in the same season Neville took them as close to the relegation zone as he could before he got the sack.

Hes f***ing shite and even wenger tried to get rid the season before.

I dont even know why this has to be explained. We've all seen the inexplicable madnesses hes pulled literally every week, sometimes in multiples. How the f**k do you coach those fatal errors out of someone?
