Bye mustafi. Kos deserves a better cb next to him

Because of mustafi, kos got inflamed achilles tendons.

We can still a get a good price for him if he goes this summer. It didn't work out for him here, no shame in that. He's 26 and can have a long and happy career somewhere else.

Yes.

Hopefully for him, somewhere where he doesn't have to defend.

That coach looks the bees, he seems very involved and seems to set players straight positionally and with regard to actions - according to the training videos I have seen thus far.

When it was first mentioned that we were in for him, from the few times I'd seen him play for Valencia I thought his robust and uncompromising style with a touch of class would compliment Koschielny perfectly. Unfortunately, whilst the equation balanced out on paper the reality was a different matter.

A point was reached last season where it almost felt sadistic watching some of his performances and understandably his name is high on many a list of players to ship out.

Two things though. Firstly, I think it was Emery who took him to Valencia where he ended up looking like a defender warranting a £42M release clause. Secondly, both him and Koschielny are typically the number two's in a center back pairing as opposed to ideally being a one and two, e.g Bould and Toure were number two's to Adams and Campbell's number one's.

Sokratis is a number one from what I've seen and something we've not had equally as long as a defensive midfielder. Maybe, just maybe, a Sokratis Mustafi partnership can finally provide us with a defense worthy of the name.

Nuno espirito santo who is now manager at Wolves was the man who brought mustafi to Valencia
Emery was at Sevilla by then
