in a few weeks when he puts 2 stellar performances together we'll go back to bigging him up.

the irrational and flip flop behaviour of our fan base is worrying.

Hi Rayyo. It's not clear to me if your comment is just a generalisation of GW or a direct response to my prior comment. If it is indeed the latter, whilst I fully respect you and your absolute right to have a differing view and opinion and even the assessment that my musings are utter rubbish, it is only with your use of irrational that I take any umbrage given what the definition of irrational actually is.

Chambers has always been better imo the sooner he returns to full fitness the better, then we can sell holding for more funds.

Perhaps one of the most wooden CBs I have ever seen play the game professionally.

He’s a human being and he kicks a ball around the pitch, that’s about the only similarities.

Steve Bould was a top quality CB, this guy isn’t even in the same universe.

Does he know he's allowed to close down players?

He knows he doesn't have the agility, acceleration to recover in case he mistimes his tackle/interception and it affects his confidence. As a result, he has this habit to continue to drop deeper and deeper which still leads to all sorts of problems.

Love his application and pashun but he just doesn't have the skill set required to be a front-footed defender who can deal with opposing counter attacks effectively.
