I really hope he doesn't get dropped next week when Sokratis is back. He needs to be playing alongside him.

He is so calm and composed. Never feel nervous when he has the ball at his feet.

That's two very good performances from him now.

Excellent, Sokratis is our best CB but Holding surely must be knocking on Mustafi's door.

Its such a shame these days that prices of players like Mustafi are what'll keep Holding on the bench.

Its the same with all clubs now, dropping your expensive players is bad financially because they get devalued .......... but maybe we should look at it the other way, playing Holding ups his value?

If anyone needs dropping, it's Mustafi.

Until Kosc returns, we have to play Sokratis and Holding as our CBs.

Absolutely earned himself a run out alongside Sokratis.

Mustafi continues to be inconsistent and petulant - way too error-prone to warrant a spot in the first XI.

Agreed. Mustafi is a walking brain fart. Even if Holding makes the odd mistake, so what? Mustafi makes them every game anyway.

Stupid push by Mustafi right in front of the ref gave Watford a great free kick opportunity..... and once again he spoils a reasonable display with an unnecessary error. As I just posted on the match thread, Rob was Great today and our best player, so time to give him more game time.

he's started well this season.

He's so young and I've always said that youngsters like him and iwobi need time to find their feet. So often players like this get thrown in the deep end at arsenal where as at other teams they would have had a healthy dose of loan spells before being given a chance. he's already had so much experience considering where he was when we bought him

He's now starting to look like the sort of player he has promised to be and while he's far from the finished article, players like him iwobi and guendouzi could well become important players in the future.

His level is just like Wes Brown, but that already helps us out to clear all long balls, which none of Mustafi, kos, Sokratis or chambers can deal with easily. It just shows u physical presence is the most crucial attribute for a CB in this league.

He's looking more and more composed every game.

Lucky not to give away a blatant penalty which probably would've been a yellow and thus a red as he was already booked.

Hes done well though past few weeks. Good squad cover but CB is a must in january

Agreed. On another day, we would be cursing his name. It was such a strange position to have his arm in. All in all, it worked out for him and tbh, I don't think he's done much wrong this season.

He's quietly becoming a decent player with us and is showing huge potential if he keeps going. It's whether he learns from things like tonight that will make him a top player.
