He's a martyr

Sacrificed himself so Saliba can surely come home

Knew he would get sent off with how physical he was being at the start. What a let down.

He's a 3 at the back CB.
We badly missed White tonight.

Wonder if Stuivenburg chewed him out like he did with Pepe the other day.

Idiotic display.

Even more idiotic management because a blind man could see the red card coming.

Instead of complaining about the referees and other things beyond our control, can we ask why Rob Holding is still an Arsenal player? He's been at the club for six years, and aside from a couple good performances here and there, it's hard to argue he's been anything above bang average. Why, then, have we made him a long term member of the team by extending his contract till 2024?

If we're serious about "the process", we should stop carrying players like Holding. We will never go anywhere when we allow players like this to continue to drag us down.

The guy has to go, an absolute ass clown of a display yesterday, inexcusable. Showed no control whatsoever from minute one, we don't need brain dead players.

Get rid.

He’s a limited player who has put in some huge performances for us over the years, but yesterday, I can only think he was following orders to rough up Son from the start.

How else do we explain such an out of character performance?

True, I mean it looked like a throw-back to the 80s/early 90s, that level of rough-housing, totally mad. You could super-impose Vinnie Jones' face on Holding's and not be surprised by what you saw.

So it's Arteta's fault

Honestly man some of you lol

It is Arteta's fault for giving Holding a long term deal. Everyone can see Holding is bang average, and yet Arteta has chosen to keep him at the club.

Indeed I do. We've had some silliness between us over the years.
