Our current commercial deals are very good though, even without the Addidas deal, the current PUMA deal is good in comparison to most. Apart from the extra 150k Ozil gets a week, I can't see where the vast majority of that £70m sum is coming from. Wages haven't gone up an extra £70m a season.
They are ok but not amazing. We currently get about the same as Chelsea for our shirt sponsorship after the new deal last summer, however they will likely soon get an improved deal and Man U are always about 20% ahead of everyone.
Then there's all the other sponsorhips and endorsements that the highly commercial clubs like Man U and even Liverpool have in place. Just look how many "partners" they have
