Fantastic player just needs to be played in rotation something we are poor at for obvious reasons

Manchester City’s search for another left-back could lead them towards Arsenal star Kieran Tierney, reports the Scotsman.

The Premier League champions have been heavily linked with Brighton defender Marc Cucurella, but a Scotland international at Emirates Stadium is also in their sights.

Get this done and we take cucurella

It's such a shame about his injuries because I honestly thought he would be captain one day. But we can't go back to the bad old days of having professional physiotherapy patients on the books

I think Tierney's fragility has led to explore the transfer possibilities of Aaron Hickey. But I cannot understand why a top team will pay top money for a player prone to breakdowns.

His injury record was an issue before he came here

Think KT was brought in during the Unai era. He was initially out for half a season if I remember correctly.

For the same reason they would give a manager with zero experience more leeway and more backing than they would a manager with a proven track record.

Signings Martinez would make a lot of sense.

Tierney can start in games where we want more of an attacking outlet. Martinez as a defensive option.

Martinez will get plenty of game time - especially since he's able to cover CB and DM too.

He was injured when he signed for us and had missed most of the prior season with Celtic. He barely played during the Unai/Arteta phase of the season due to that injury.

The Covid break gave him a chance to recover in time to play out the end of the season and FA Cup.

Its actually even funnier given our track record of being so shit with fixing injuries, so we bought a player that has a significant injury track record - when he was out already injured - thinking "we can fix him" :rofll:

Like leaving a crackhead alone in a house with valuables as part of their rehabilitation - and thinking they won't steal something.

Not really worked out. If we can manage to get 50m it's the sale of the century

Why would anyone in right mind pay 50mil for a injury prone like KT? Even 15 should be a good offer for me.
