This summer is last chance saloon when it comes to selling Tierney. It is obvious now that his injury woes will never go away. Any offer at or above the price we've paid for him (£25m) should be entertained, and an offer significantly above it should be accepted without hesitation.

I love Tierney, but I have to be realistic. If we don't sell him this summer, he's going to become an expensive long term problem for us. We can't afford that.

£50m for a LB ........... has to be worth a view to selling.

You can get a top LB replacement for £25m - £30m easily and put £20m+ toward the budget.

Remember we got Tomiyasu for £16m ffs, if we could sell Tierney for £50m and buy a similar priced replacement like we did for Tomi and of that quality then AFC would be quids in.

Get the replacement first or clubs will automatically add 20m to the price of any left back we try to buy.

Exactly. £50m for Tierney.

£15m on Hickey and £35m on Gnabry. Deal of the century.

really like KT but if anything like the above deal can be swung... itd be hard to argue against... especially given his unfortunate injury history

We're in for Hickey, not sure how good he is but as much as I like Tierney his injury history is troubling.

If Newcastle are prepared to pay the sort of money that's been banded around, we should take the money and run, we could buy two Fullbacks for that money.

Marcelo confirmed his departure. LB spot is open. Will Real come in with a bid though?

Why would anyone bid 50 mil for an injury prone LB is beyond me and more so w/ RMA. KT is good when he is fit but not the greatest, and he has his weaknesses too.
All media hype.
