Shearer played for genuine pub teams, had 2 horror injuries and still scored 260 goals. Miles ahead of everyone else. Best striker premiership has seen. It's not even a debate lol. I understand the bias fans have to their own players and that's fine but in reality it's not even close.

Henry played 8 seasons in the PL and won 4 Golden Boots.

His goals per game ratio is also better than Shearer's.

Henry was also miles better as a player overall, far more facets to his game.

The guy has the PL record for assists in a season and he's a striker ffs.

Think about that, Hazard, Cesc, Scholes, Ozil, KDB, Silva - all these greats midfielders yet none of them have been able to match Henry's assist tally.

As a striker or a complete player, however you want to dice it it's Henry > Shearer.
