Allegedly as a direct result of our display on Saturday evening, Arsenal FC have just received a summons to appear in court for a breach of the Trade Description Act 1968.

Only midfielders in the list ~ Ozil, KdB, and Silva. ;)

Gunners = Aubameyang, Alexis, Giroud, and Ozil.

Minutes per G+A:

Gunners = van Persie, Aubameyang, Giroud.

Going from Ozil and Alexis to whatever we have now. Loooool.

Is it right that we only have 4 players out of contract this summer? Including Ryan, Cebellos and Odegaard who are on loan anyway. Luiz is the other one. I thought we were set to get rid of a lot of deadwood, but no, if this is true.

I thought/hoped we had more out of contratct to move on. I think we're still paying 90% of Ozil's wages, but that will stop in summer at least.

That would be a dream. Luiz would be the biggest loss and he’s a clown anyway.

Luiz is a winner and bring trophies everywhere he goes, makes sense why he wants to go to a club with some winning mentality, can’t leave out a world class defender like that for championship level Holding

Lol world class, do me a favour :rofll:

His experience would be useful to keep a bit longer though, as I’ve said to you in the other thread.

Yep when he’s playing in the right system man makes defending looking easy, especially that passing from the back he’s a big game player without him Chelsea wouldn’t have those europas, C.L. trophy nor would we have that FA cup last season, the only thing that lest him down is age and other clowns he plays with.

Look at Thiago Silva at Chelsea now that they have a decent manager you can see his real quality, if we bring in a somewhat decent manager in Luiz will shine

For the first time since Wenger left, Amy/Ornstein/the Athletic have come out with a critical piece on Arsenal.

- Arsenal hierarchy have no experienced footballing personalities;
- Edu, Vinai, and Mikel are learning on the job; Kroenkes aware of this;
- Edu is the most experienced footballing personality in all of Arsenal;
- They don't want David O'Leary at Arsenal;
- Senior players aren't happy with Arteta but he enjoys a cult-like following amongst Hale End graduates;
- Auba and Mikel don't have a smooth relationship;
- Senior players also unhappy with Arteta's interviews and press conferences in which he always insinuates that the players are at fault and his tactics are spotless;
- Bellerin, Willian, Luiz, Xhaka, and Leno want to leave;
- Edu and Mikel see the, "Hale End," folks alongside Chambers, Tierney, and Holding as the future of Arsenal;
- Many people in the board didn't want Arteta to be promoted to manager;
- There's a power vacuum at Arsenal; no monolithic figure who could take tough decisions;
- Player management remains an issue.

Essentially, for the first time, the Athletic puts the blame on Arteta as well as Edu.

Unless Josh becomes hands-on, or we hire an experienced DoF, it looks gloomy at Arsenal. Arteta had a choice to bring along some senior coaches, but he opted for inexperienced coaches, and doesn't—as insinuated—want anyone questioning his authority.

Senior players remain skeptical.
