I am able to separate out the worry about home games being played outside of the UK with cringing at an Arsenal twitter post, which is about 'our home' for an imminent pre season tour game.
That's not the point. It was a simple post about social media cringe, which you dove way too deep into.
SoFi Stadium was touted as the "American home of Arsenal" not because we were playing there, but because the Kroenkes own that stadium.
Even if you ignore the cultural connotation there, SoFi Stadium wouldn't be included as part of Arsenal's valuation when analyzing Arsenal's net worth.
Social media is cringe as such, especially these kinds of posts. Now, KSE owns Arsenal. But SoFi Stadium isn't part of Arsenal. No potential buyer would factor in the worth of that stadium when making an offer.
It's really that simple. Nothing to do with whether we play official games in the US. SoFi Stadium isn't an entity of Arsenal FC.
We might as well start celebrating the Etihad Stadium as the "former" home of our manager.
