Never really noticed the colour of the trophy. Just assumed they were all gold.

Never used the golden trophy to big up the invincibles. The unbeaten run does that itself

Fans like this give us all a bad name.

Fans like that don't realise how close others have been,
GG was one game away himself.
Golden Trophy should have been kept for team to win every game.

Besides, the double is a bigger achievement because it is more trophies.

Not to mention Utds treble.

Also that year when Gerard Houlier won five major and minor trophies with Liverpool, arguably a bigger achievement.

Preston North End completed an invincible season and won the league in 1889, and, although that only consisted of 22 matches, they also won the FA cup.

Oh, and Leicester City. Definitely a bigger achievement.

We used to laugh at Liverpool fans and call them historians for reaching back into history to find things to cheer about. They’re about to win their second league tittle since we last won it.

Recently got some Arsenal coffee mugs off Temu.
What a product and 100% authentic to Arsenal started shinny and prestine loving what I had, 4 months on the logo have almost faded away.
Perfect simulation of the club in a coffee mug

IF that's true, then the two league title mob deserve every bit of pain and angst that Sol joining us gave them.

Legally implicating him to sign a new deal? Fcking base behaviour.

loooooool

Lord Sugar is rich and connected. Sol has to be careful he doesn't get sued. That's a hard allegation. Way more than just being dropped t the reserves, or being told to train by himself.

Was that written by a drunk five year old? The grammar is shocking and it confidently informs the reader that £140,000 a week = £5M a year

Have seen this as a proposed starting 11 next season
Raya
Timber
Saliba
Gabby
Zubamendi
Rice
Ode
Saka
Havertz
Isack

That team imo will be no better than what we have, the LW of Havertz already never works or worked, ode is fast becoming a fluke season a year ago, and Zubamendi is yet to impress me much I think he will struggle in the EPL.
So I see more of the same if Ode and Havertz are both starting, I don't see Isack getting the service.

I'd rather get Williams or Eze as the Saka/wide forward back up.

This is extremely left-field, but I'd get in Ward-Prowse as a back-up CM. I'd keep Partey for another season, though he'd have to play from off the bench more.

In defence, we're fine. Even if Kiwior leaves, his replacement would just be another back-up.

1a) Nico Williams isn't the profile of player who'd be interested in joining Arsenal to play second fiddle to Saka.
1b) Why spend £48m and £300k+ in weekly wages on a left winger when it's your left wing that needs to be sorted out?
1c) Ese is a central-minded player whose experience as a winger is limited.

2) Few would dispute that Ward-Prowse's dead ball ability is world class, but is that a trade-off worth making for maybe the least athletic midfielder in the Premier League? The same lack of athleticism can be attributed to Jorgi, but it doesn't look like he's staying for another season. Two years after Xhaka's departure our left side still hasn't been fixed. Why not aim higher?

3) Besides Kiwior, Zinchenko and Tierney are almost certainly leaving the club this summer (especially the latter). Tomiyasu won't be back before the end of this calendar year and Calafiori can't seem to stay fit for more than 3 months, i.e., we'll have 5 players with reliable fitness records for 4 positions in White, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, and Lewis-Skelly. Whether one addition would suffice would depend strongly on Tomi and Ricky's ability to stay fit.

White and Timber should take up the RB and LB, back ups being Tomiyasu ( when fit at RB) and MLS for LB( also should be groomed for LM,or no.8).
Calafiori, though showing some vulnerability, think is set to stay for at least another season or two( depending on his ability to stay healthy). So, we will remain shorthanded at RB , until Tomiyasu shows some robustness and in that case Zinchenko remains w/ the squad,in case Timber again has to again deputize on right,if need arises.
