These kids always score when it doesn't matter. Nice to have positive friendly results but if they could actually turn up when they get chances on the pitch in competitive games it'd be nice.

Eddie the best of the 3, need the other two to step up. Wasn't long ago Balogun was getting big for his boots, show us why you're worth it.

Expected to see at least Patino, Azeez on the tour. Maybe because of the large squad, 33 players, they're left behind. Anyway, 33 will have to be trimmed to 25, so changes will be affected before the league starts.

Anyone else think Arteta is targeting classic good guys?

Odegaard, Jesus, Tielemans, etc.

And if so, could we see f. Ex. Ngolo Kante?

Would be perfect!

A third string Arsenal side were beaten 1-2 by the Bees. Good outing for all our fringe players. Actually should have won by the chances created. Nktiah on target this time.

Jens Lehmann has allegedly attacked his neighbour's garage with a chainsaw because of a row over the view

Probably because he was my first Arsenal manager so it resonates more with me, I'm left with the impression that the sad passing on of Terry Neill has been kinda relegated to no more than a footnote as opposed to an appropriate statement.

This kind of thing is always hard to do considering the long history of our club and how we should approach the game. I'll swab Brady for Gilberto Silva just because I think Vierra will have a hard time if everybody in front of him are attack minded players. Or maybe let Henry be the sole striker and swab Bergkamp for Brady in a 4-1-4-1 or a 4-2-3-1.
