dunno why fans are moaning.

Yes, United has signed players. Some "Mbappe of centre-backs" kid and Zirkzee. We HAVE the Mbappe of centre-backs and Yoro might be a CB Hojlund since they paid £50m for him.

If any club or fans should worry, it's Liverpool. New manager, and they had a half-title challenge. Salah and van Dijk are getting on, and Nunez still isn't it.

It’s the middle of July. Anyone sharpening pitchforks right now, keeps them sharp from malice.

Mikel Arteta has named an initial 26-man squad to travel to the USA for our pre-season tour.

A mixture of experienced pros and young talent will represent us Stateside for our matches against Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Skipper Martin Odegaard leads the side, while Ben White, Gabriel Jesus and Jurrien Timber are all available for the trip, as are Euro 2024 stars Leandro Trossard, Jorginho, Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Fellow first-teamers Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson also travel, while Karl Hein is joined in the goalkeeping department by new arrivals Tommy Setford and Lucas Nygaard, plus youngster Alexei Rojas.

Due to their progression in Copa America and the Euros, Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz will join the squad from July 25.

Meanwhile those players involved in the latter stages of Euro 2024 - Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya and William Saliba - will link up with their teammates upon our return from America.

Kieran Tierney (hamstring) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) will remain in London to receive treatment from our medical staff at Sobha Realty Training Centre.

We start with a game against Bournemouth at LA Galaxy’s Dignity Health Sports Park on Wednesday, July 24 (7.30pm local time), before tackling Manchester United at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles the following Saturday (5pm local).

The party then go from coast to coast as they head to Philadelphia for a meeting with Liverpool at Lincoln Financial Field on Wednesday, August 1 (7.30pm local) before returning to the UK.

Tickets are still available for all three matches, while you can stream every game live on Arsenal.com and the official app by purchasing Match Passes.

    Arsenal’s US Tour squad

Goalkeepers: Karl Hein, Tommy Setford, Lucas Nygaard, Alexei Rojas

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Jorginho, Michal Rosiak, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira, Ethan Nwaneri, Salah–Eddine Oulad M’Hand, Jimi Gower

We gave him a raise and a further year in March, meaning he's on £100k per week for two more years. We did this despite knowing all about his injury record at Arsenal. What is going on with these contracts?

He has a point. Though despite his technical ability, he often used to try and beat players from the touchline. Not very efficient for a wide forward.

Mikel Arteta has now handed Nwaneri back-to-back starts against Premier League opposition Bournemouth and Manchester United.

And in truth, Nwaneri has arguably been Arsenal’s strongest performer across the two games, proving that he is ready for first team football.

Ayden Heaven and Nwaneri have started both matches for Arteta, and whilst the defender has endured something of baptism of fire, Nwaneri looks comfortable at this level.

The England under-17 international played as Arsenal’s left-sided number eight against United, a position that is still vacant ever since Granit Xhaka’s departure.

He looks promising lets hope Arteta doesn't screw this up.
