Arsenal hit unwanted milestone

The Gunners have now become the first side to reach 100 red cards since the formation of the Premier League back in 1992.

Gabriel, meanwhile, is the 11th player to have been sent off under Mikel Arteta, which is more than any other club since the Spaniard's appointment in December 2019.

Arsenal have requested for a postponement of Sunday's game due to unavailability of players.
Better of this way.

Our summer tour of the USA is up in the air over the Chelsea crisis.

They were scheduled to be our opponents, but it is unclear at the moment whether they will be permitted to spend the money on the trip.

How long will we wait around to see whether they can before finding new opponents?

Scandalous.

Players who weren't good enough, given inflated contracts, and then paid to do nothing. In any other industry this would result in an internal investigation and questions of corruption. Yet in football and in particular at Arsenal we just shrug it off.

Aubamayang paid millions to leave, to go and be paid millions elsewhere and suddenly start banging in goals.

There's a good article ' Gunners start a revolution' in Four Four Two. Good summary of the past four years , with interviews of ESR, Martinelli, Ramsdale and Pires. Some positive vibes.

The game will also give an opportunity to remember the late José Antonio Reyes, who was a favourite amongst both sets of supporters during his tenure with Sevilla FC and Arsenal throughout the early 2000’s.

Arsenal v Sevilla for the prestigious Emirates cup

Remembering Reyes more important though
