Oh, we realise...

I watched Arsenal - City in a high street bar in the middle of Brsibane at 6am on a Tuesday. between 65-70 Gooners there by the end of the match. They love their footy.

Planning my next trip now to coincide with this tour.

ARSENAL TO FACE BAYERN IN SHANGHAI

We will play Bayern Munich in a pre-season friendly in Shanghai, China on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

The match at the Shanghai Stadium will be part of the International Champions Cup, a multi-club pre-season group of matches in China. The match will be followed by a friendly against Chelsea on Saturday, July 22 in the Bird’s Nest Stadium, Beijing.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis said: “It will be very special for our Chinese fans to see a game of this stature. We have a fantastic following in China and the two games we are playing there this summer will be an exciting part of our build up for the new season.”

Kick-off time and ticket details will be confirmed closer to the fixture. It is intended that supporters with official Arsenal China membership will have priority access to tickets and a series of exclusive events.

The fixtures in China will follow our pre-season matches in Australia where we meet Sydney FC (July 13) and Western Sydney Wanderers (July 15). Some tickets are still available here - click here for details

After returning from our travels, we will launch into final preparations for the Emirates Cup, which is being held on the weekend of Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30. Teams for the Emirates Cup will be finalised and announced in due course.

Everything wants to kill you in Australia, you are not safe on land or on sea, I bet they have deadly ladybirds too, one bite and its curtains. Not sure how people live in Australia, I would be a paranoid wreck.

Aaaah, babes on beaches, that could do it.

But I'm not sure I could go to the beach cos death lurks around every corner, death over a bit of skirt aint worth it !! I'm black so no need to get a suntan, I would have to go in the sea and any number of things could kill me. Fook that !

EMIRATES CUP 2017 LINE-UP CONFIRMED

We are delighted to announce that the Emirates Cup is returning this pre-season and will be held on Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.

Joining us at Emirates Stadium for this summer's pre-season tournament will be current Portuguese champions Benfica, Europa League winners in 2014, 2015 and 2016, Sevilla; and RB Leipzig, who have been hugely impressive during their first season in the Bundesliga.

This will be the ninth staging of the Emirates Cup, which has been a regular in the club's pre-season schedule since moving to Emirates Stadium.

As with the previous Emirates Cup tournaments, fans will enjoy two matches each on both Saturday and Sunday, with one ticket giving access to both matches on a particular day.

The kick-off times on both days are 2pm and 4.20pm, with tickets priced from only £25 for adults and £12 for concessions for each day.

Members will be offered a priority window within which they can buy tickets for the Emirates Cup 2017.

Platinum and Gold Members can buy their own seats from Thursday, May 11, and will also have the opportunity to buy another ticket anywhere in the stadium from Thursday, May 18.

Silver Members can purchase from Friday, May 19 and Red Members can purchase from Monday, May 22.

The Emirates Cup 2017 kicks-off at 2pm on Saturday, July 29 with RB Leipzig taking on Sevilla FC, Arsenal then face SL Benfica at 4.20pm.

On Sunday, July 30, RB Leipzig play SL Benfica at 2pm, before we bring the tournament to a close against Sevilla FC, which kicks off at 4.20pm.

Teams will be awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. The competition also rewards attacking play, with teams being awarded one point for each goal they score.

In addition, shots on target will be taken into account and will be used to decide the tournament winners if teams are level on points and goal difference, with the winning team being presented with the Emirates Cup trophy after the second match on Sunday, July 30.

Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: "We’re all delighted to once again be hosting the Emirates Cup this summer. Every year we have staged the competition, the Emirates Cup has been hugely successful and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend of football.

"Benfica, Sevilla and Leipzig are three strong clubs, with good players, who will not only hopefully produce some exciting football, but also provide us with high quality preparation ahead of the new season."

Emirates Divisional Senior Vice-President, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand, Boutros Boutros added: "The Emirates Cup continues to be a key part of our long-term partnership with Arsenal Football Club. We’re really looking forward to the return of the competition in July, which has always been a great way for the Arsenal team to prepare for the start of the new season and also for the fans to enjoy two days of high quality pre-season football at Emirates Stadium. We’re once again proud to be supporting this great weekend of football."

Emirates Cup 2017 match schedule:

Saturday, July 29, 2017
RB Leipzig v Sevilla FC – 2pm kick off
Arsenal v SL Benfica – 4.20pm kick off

Sunday, July 30, 2017
RB Leipzig v SL Benfica – 2pm kick off
Arsenal v Sevilla FC – 4.20pm kick off
