I think if you analyse his comments before these interviews, then it seems pretty certain to me that he is gay. He has said that it would be impossible for a footballer to come out, like Rugby players have.

It’s sad that in this day and age that is still the case.

Yeah Bellerin actually strikes me as the kind of player who would come out. Young enough that he hasn't grown up thinking he shouldn't come out, very vocal about his values.

Also Arsenal as a club is very pro-inclusion, so if he was gay I would be more surprised if he stayed in the closet.

That’s all well and good, but he has to play at places where he’d get constant grief and he probably knows it would drag him down eventually, no matter how much support he had.

Why risk that?
